Trip Report

We were happy to escape valley smoke, but we didn’t escape the heat.
Six of us enjoyed a long, up and down, 11.4 miles trail to Fawn Lake, Stage Lake and Pretty Lake in Diamond Peak Wilderness. Semi-dense forest with solid trail hiding dozens of beautiful 6 foot in diameter Ponderosa Pines and Douglas Firs. Couple of Obsidians took a lunch time swim at Stage Lake.
At the end of 90°F hike we stopped at Odell Sportsman Center for ice cream and refreshments.
