Description:

We will circumvent the “rock”, then hike up into the interior, exploring the various rock forms and enjoying the forever desert views. Then we’ll visit the Homestead Museum in the town of Fort Rock and learn of the fascinating and tragic history of the settlement and free land boondoggle of the area in the early 1900’s.
