Description:
Access is via Green Island Rd, off Coburg Rd, NW of Coburg.
Option #1: I will carpool from the S. Eugene Albertsons at 30th and Hilyard St., meeting at 8:30.
Option #2: If someone wants to organize a carpool from N. Eugene, contact me and I will add it.
Option #3: This is a public event so you can just drive with a hiking buddy and stay as long or short as you want.
McKenzie River Trust regularly opens their 1,100 acres near the confluence of the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers. There are a bit less than eight flat miles of trail, laid out as a figure eight with two loops. Much of it is gravel road, Some trail is a mowed path through fields and may be muddy.
Some folks will want to do the entire eight miles, some will want to walk less. We should be able to accommodate all preferences.
