NOTICE NEW TIME: WE WILL WORK 8AM to 11AM.

DETAIL UPDATE >> We will be deadheading tansy ragwort in Coyote Prairie. We will also be removing bachelor buttons, bowl thistle, and St. John's Wort. It will most likely be warm and sunny. Please bring sun protection and wear long sleeves.

We will meet at the parking lot of Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah's Native Plant Nursery. (34639 Frank Parrish Rd, Eugene, OR 97405). After crossing the bridge turn left and follow signs to Friends Nursery. Drive past the North Parking lot, continue through the open gate. Continue driving straight until you arrive at the Native Plant Nursery. Please park on the left side along the fenceline of the nursery.
We will be doing vegetation management and fuels reduction in Bridge bowl (5 min walk from Friends nursery and across from the North Parking lot). These tasks include deadheading teasel, removing young teasel, blackberry, English hawthorn, and Scotch broom in the area.

Trip Report

Today we worked at Coyote Prairie with Friends of Bufford Park. Our invasive species management was hot, dusty and prickly.
