Trip Report

Tugman Park was the starting point for our walk on city streets, nature trails, and secret neighborhood paths to Resthaven and Calvary cemeteries. With the bathrooms closed at the Wayne Morse Family Farm, we took a circuitous route to the Market of a Choice for a rest stop. Avoiding busy city streets, Jorry led us to a birthday lunch for Randy at their home. After lunch and eating kiwi fruit from their tree, we took another neighborhood path back to Tugman Park named after the editor of the Register Guard from 1927-1954. Fortunately the cold morning temperatures moved upward so that all of us could enjoy being outside. A special thanks to Jorry and Randy for hosting the luncheon. Another thanks to Joanna who added to the holiday atmosphere with her Day of the Dead costume.
