Trip Report

Despite the loss of one hour to Daylight Savings Time, 13 dedicated hikers met at 8:00 a.m. to join together and clear the way up Hardesty Mountain. The South Willamette trail from Crale Creek road until it merges with the Hardesty trail was cleared of debris and the trail patched up in spots. Snow was encountered near the top of the mountain. In spite of some wet feet at the end of the trail, a good time was had by Angie Barta, John and Peter Cecil, Gladys Grancorvitz, Wilbur Groner, Bonnie Ledford, Betty Legris, Marshall Pallett, Don Payne, Lin Pierce, Alan Pritchard, Mike Wright and leader Suzanne Steussy.
