Description:
Meet by the restroom at the Hendricks Park Rhododendron Garden, off Skyline Blvd. It has a four hour free parking lot. Public transportation via EMX to Walnut St. Station. The rhododendrons are approaching full bloom now.
We will walk down to the river path and circle around to Alton Baker Park and back. All paved trails. On the way we will check out two active heron rookeries, a fox den, and the Skinner Butte eagle nest. There should be swallows nesting under the foot bridges.
