Description:

Hike various trails in the Columbia River Gorge area and stay at the Menucha Retreat & Conference Center in Corbett. Included are 2 dinners, 2 sack lunches and 2 breakfasts.
Cost is $175 for members and $180 for non-members, with preference given to members. Online signups will start on January 9th for members only; non-members will be able to sign up on January 16th. There will be no refunds after April 1st. unless your spot is filled. Sign up online and within 5 days mail your check for the full amount (payable to Obsidians) to Helen Martz, 1311 Arcadia Drive, Eugene, OR 97401. If you wish to share a room with someone, include that information along with your check. There will be a pre-trip meeting in April.

Trip Report

Nineteen Obsidians enjoyed a variety of hikes and spectacular scenery in the Columbia Gorge, including Dog Mountain, Angels Rest, Triple Falls, Larch Mountain Crater, Latourell Falls, and Tom McCall Preserve where the wildflowers were at their splendid best. Our accommodations at the Menucha Conference Center were very comfortable, also providing a visual treat in a park-like setting where the Spring shrubs were in full bloom.
