Join us for an evening with stories from Mike Smith and dessert. Mike will share wisdom he has gained from his years of experience hiking, paddling, and working on trails. He recently gave a similar presentation at the Cascade Volunteers Skills College. Through multiple stories and examples Mike will discuss group think, fatigue, impacts on decision making, time on trail, and environmental concerns. It should be a fun evening!!

Note: All are welcome, no need to sign up. Mike's presentation will last about 45 minutes and then time for questions.

Trip Report

It was a lively evening with 31 folks enjoying visiting and dessert before Mike shared his stories from hiking, canoeing, and trail work. Through his stories Mike invited us to think about how group think, fatigue, time on trail, and the environment affect our outdoor experiences.
