Description:

This Trip in conjunction with a PCT hike from the McKenzie Pass to the Santiam Pass. We’ll be the drivers for that hike. We’ll drop the thru hikers off on Hwy 242 . The we’ll proceed to Sisters where we can stop for gas, coffee, breakfast, etc. Next we head to the Metolius River area where we can take a look at the headwaters, visit Camp Sherman and Wizard Falls Fish hatchery. Our actual hike for the day will be along the river from the hatchery. Then we head to the Santiam Pass to pick up the thru hikers.
