Trip Report

We managed, with a good, strong, hardworking group, to finish clearing the Jones Trail of all but the larger trees. We had to do it the hard way, to carry our tools three miles uphill to the place where we left off work the last time. We got a day's hike as well as a day's work on this one.

The trail is beautiful, thanks to Lee Hatch with his chain saw, and the hard work of Margaret Crosland, Steve and K.C. Kraft, Wilbur Groner, Mary Fulton, Pete and John Cecil, and leader Betty Legris.
