Larison Creek Trail

Description:

Larison Creek Trail is an out-and-back hike on a beautiful trail which runs along Larison Cove and then along Larison Creek.
The trail is well-maintained and without excessive elevation gain. We will take a snack break where the trail crosses the creek via an old log. After the break we will turn around and head back the way we came.

We will meet at the LCC east parking lot and leave promptly at 8:30. Take Hwy 58 to Hills Creek Reservoir Rd which is a mile past Oakridge. Take a right after a half mile onto road #21. Continue for 3.3 miles to the Larison Creek Trailhead.

Trip Report

A great day for a hike. It was warm and we started hiking well before noon. It is a great trail in the shade along a creek with very lush scenery.
