Description:

Here is the list of jobs needing tending to:
*Moving leaves will continue. We made a very sizable dent on them last time but there are more!
*Before continuing the striping project on parking spaces and paths, all the leaves must be raked and taken away.
*Here's a new one! Some of the sprinkler valve boxes need to be cleaned out. They have filled with dirt. Moles? Settling? Gremlins?
*Two small trees need to be cut into rounds. A third small tree along the fence needs to be taken down. Chainsaws, anyone?
*A master (artistic?) pruner needs to tackle a large shrub along the fence where Clara has been working.
*Begin digging around stumps in the parking lot to prepare them to be cut by chainsaw.
*As always, the beds need tidying and weeded.

Trip Report

Rather than snow, the 11 person work crew experienced a cold but mostly sunny day. Many leaves were raked. Many leaves remain. A combination shrub (?hawthorn and hazelnut) was expertly pruned. One large stump was prepped for eventual removal. Beds were tidied and spruced up. The fence area continued to be cleared. Two new signs were installed to help the flow of traffic. Sprinkler switch boxes were cleared out. Many thanks to all the volunteers.
