Description:

This summer has been a hot one! In an attempt to keep us cooler, we will start a bit earlier for this work party. The biggest job is mowing. The weeds have sprouted and are growing well. Weeding and tending the established beds will continue. Bring your favorite tools and a snack to share, if you wish. Join us for attacking dandelions! There is yellow everywhere and it must be stopped!

Trip Report

An earlier start provided cooler temperatures although the day was quite moderate. Ten Obsidians worked hard and the grounds show it. All lawns were mowed, tall grass trimmed, bushes cut back and trees pruned, the sprinkler controls checked and the fence corridor maintained. The ability of a small hard-working group continues to fill me with admiration and awe.
