Lodge and Grounds Clean-up

Description:

It's time to do some work on the grounds and Lodge. We'll soon have the Annual Meeting, a Game Night, a Potluck, and a rental. Time to attend to our property.
Inside the Lodge people from the CSE and Entertainment Committees will be testing the speakers and mics. Weather stripping around the doors and lighting are some other tasks.
Out on the grounds, we have mowing, weeding, spent flower cutting, blackberry digging, wheelbarrowing, mulch spreading, and leaf blowing. There are several standing but dead trees if someone with a chainsaw wants to tackle them. We'll also want to clean the gutters on both buildings.

Bring work gloves, your favorite weeding tool, water bottle, sun hat, and a wheelbarrow if you have one. Feel free to bring a snack to share for our 10:30 a.m. break.

We are planning on a 9:00 a.m to noon work session but will gladly accept any time you can spare.

Trip Report

Eleven Obsidians showed up to work on the Lodge grounds in what turned out to be "hazardous" smoke conditions. We mowed,, raked, trimmed, weeded and pruned. Special thanks to Rob Castleberry for cutting down and bucking a dead madrone tree. We now have fresh firewood.
