Marilyn Lakes Snowshoe CANCELED
-
Start date: 01/20/2026
-
Start time: 8:00 AM
Description:
This is a low snow event, but there should be enough to get to Waldo Lake Road and then back through the pretty Marilyn Lakes.
It’s moderate. There is some elevation gain max-min is about 300 feet, but it's not bad, but it is 5 miles, so be aware. You can wait at the Salt Creek bridge over the outlet of Gold Lake and not have to go to the road. Many might want to see how close the Waldo Lake Road is, another place to begin a snowshoe, although not where we will be.
I’ve worked the area winter and summer, and the lakes are lovely in both seasons.
We will walk from GLSP across 58 and start the snowshoe there.
