Description:

Mileage and elevation is an estimate. From Martin Street we will take the Amazon Headwaters Trail to Fox Hollow, Dillard, up Baldy and down to Spring Blvd. Trailhead. Once we get to Baldy and depending on the weather and group interest, we have some shorter options for our loop trip to get back to our cars.

Trip Report

On top of Baldy the ice on the trees was melting as if were raining. We had chocolate snacks and decided to head down to Spring Trailhead to a take the trail on Baldy's north side to Old Dillard Road. We don't recommend this since is there is now a heavy chain across the trail in two places. If a shortcut is needed, the power line road down to Center Street would be an option. Perhaps some of us will do some exploration to find another route. Our hike took three hours.
