Topic: Two Obsidians, who are also ONDA members, will report on the history and ecology of the McDermitt Creek caldera and watershed as well as the environmental implications of the potential McDermitt Creek lithium mine. They participated in a trip at Trout Creek Mountains earlier in the month to learn about these issues and conduct field surveys.

Randy provided a extremely informative talk regarding potential lithium mining in the McDermitt Creek Caldera area and the impact that activity could have on the plants, animals and people of that area.
