Trip Report

Left in one car Saturday a.m., had lunch in Sisters and arrived at Camp Lake in the early evening. Cloudless weather with a moderate west wind coming over the saddle. Walked over the snow fields to the base and then to the southeast Ridge. One snow field lay uncomfortably across the ridge. Arrived early enough to find summit empty, but over-crowding soon set in. Returned galloping down the scree (under proper precaution), a nice thing for a small party. Back in camp at noon. Climbers: Steve Healy, John Uhrhammer, Robert Walden, and leader Greg Wannier.
