Trip Report

A pleasant evening but cloud cover and a bit of rain put a damper on the sunset and nixed the moonrise. We started our hike by visiting the Oak Savannna Exhibit that explains the cultural and ecological outcomes of regular burning and asks one to reflect on the statement, “The oak savanna will not exist without humans.”
