Description:

Sunset is 5:31 and moonrise is 4:58. The moon should rise over the foothills around 5:10. Look for us by my car a row or two down from the fee box. Depending on weather, we will probably take the arboretum trail by the creek to connect with the main trail to the top. If you want to leave earlier, email me at jbjacobsen@comcast.net

Trip Report

A rainbow over Mt. Pisgah swing hill must have been auspicious sign that the rain would stop and we would have a pleasant sunset hike. We didn't see the moonrise but the sunset was worthy of photographs. We back at our cars before dark.
