Description:

Look for us by my car, two or three rows down from the fee box at the gate. We will take shady Trail 7 and 4 to the main trail to the summit. Moonrise is at 7:43 and sunset is at 8:08. This is two days before the full moon.

Trip Report

We welcomed Lynda's granddaughter, Heather, who has started her new job with the Eugene School District.It was a surprise that Barabara Orsii canceled and then showed up carrying her dog in her day pack—against Club rules. When some were ready to give up on the moon making an appearance, there it was. A chorus of crickets serenaded us on the way down. Back at the trailhead, Rick pointed out Venus.
