Trip Report

We had a nice group of nine hikers, including one non-member on her first Obsidian hike. We started from the Martin St. trailhead. The amount of downed trees from the winter storms is staggering! We were able to fully appreciate all the hard work the city and volunteers have done to clear this trail. We enjoyed the numerous trilliums in bloom along the route. The morning was cold (36 degrees) but the weather cooperated and we had no precipitation with clouds giving way to sunshine and warmer temps as we returned to our vehicles.
