Trip Report

'Twas an ill fated climb from, the beginning; Steve had blisters before we made camp. Started climb at 2 a.m. on Saturday, found Shale Lake at 5 a.m. and were at the saddle at noon. Didn't go across the snowfield. The weather was cloudy and windy above, and sunny below. Returned home early Sunday. Participants were Dan Bretheim, Dave Campbell, Paul Foshay, Rick Hargreaves, Steve Mayer, Joe Turner, and Lee and Wayne Hatch, leader.
