Trip Report

Left Eugene after lunch on Saturday and took the Hwy 58-97 route. Stopped at Collier State Park to see the logging equipment display. Arrived at trailhead at 6:00 p.m. (no water in stream or spring.) Left camp at 7:15 a.m.; were on top at 10:45. A warm sunny day with a nice breeze. Mt. Shasta was beautiful with a recent coat of snow. After a "dip" in Fry Lake, we reached the cars at 3:00 p.m., and home by 7:00 p.m. Climbers were Keith Blunck, Chris Orum, Vern Scott, Bob Williams and leader Frank Moore.
