Description:

Meet at my car in the parking area below the fee box. You will need a Lane County Parks Pass. If you don't have a pass there is a fee station at the trailhead that accepts credit cards. Allow enough time to get your pass and display it in your vehicle. We'll be taking trails 17-7-4-2-1 to reach the summit. This route takes us part way up and then down to the east before climbing to the top. Our return will shorter on trials 1-3-35-5. Trip Report

The rain stayed away for most of our hike. One on the great things about hiking at Pisgah is that there are so many options. We took one today. It started raining as we left the summit. Instead of going down by way of trails 3 & 35 we shortened our mileage a bit by going straight done trail#1 or taking the 3 to 17 route. Back at the cars there was a new member form to be signed and carrot cake to be enjoyed.
