Description:
Turn right at the sign for West Summit Trailhead and follow pay fee signs. Look for the yellow fee box. UPDATE: Meet at the bathroom near wildflower garden to and sign in. Depending on weather, I plan to take (wide) back trails -Trail 4 up and down to Trail 2 and the long uphill to the summit. Estimated time is 3 hours so bring snacks. Once we reach the summit, you have the option of going back down on the main trail for total of 6 miles or continuing on to north trailhead and then along the river for a total of 7.4 miles.
