Trip Report

This was a raw, cold, foggy late afternoon walk up Pisgah. The question was not whether we would see the Moon; that was obviously not going to occur. The question was whether we would be in clouds, and we were. It was a quick walk up the mountain to "Yes, we are here and we aren't going to see anything in outer space tonight, so let's go back down." We did. We welcomed Alliette Pons, who moved here 3 months ago from south Florida. She is originally from the Dominican Republic and is looking forward to hiking in Oregon.
