Description:

Carpooling from Eugene at 6 or 7pm Saturday (exact time TBD) and camping at the TH. Start hiking about 4am. Starting the climb from Mt Thielsen Trailhead and continuing the standard route.

Trip Report

We camped about a quarter mile up the trail the night before and were hiking by 4am to avoid the heat and crowds. All climbers summited on a beautiful, sunny day and we were on our way back down before noon.
