Trip Report

A mid-week climb of Thielsen proved to be good experience for several persons just starting their climbing career. Jerry Mohler led a group which included Sid Pollard, Bob Kiene, David Blackley and Richard Hargreaves. This is one of several climbs the climbing committee sponsored to assist persons wanting to get started climbing, and to receive training as past of the climb. We left the car at 7 a.m. and were on top by 11 a.m. Then the thunder and lightning hit and we all got out fast. Had lunch at a lower elevation. It was a great day!
