Trip Report

We left the trailhead at about 6:00 p.m. and were on top of Mt. Thielsen by 9:30, ahead of all the hikers straggling up behind us. What a delight to climb with such a small and fast group! The following day the Grandys led us on a bike ride around Crater Lake, so it was good to get back to the campground. What a delightful way to spend a weekend. Our group of climbers were Chris & Truman Grandy, Anne Turner and George Jobanek, leader.
