Trip Report

After a most restful sleep serenaded by Elvis's greatest hits from the neighbor's ghetto box, we "cheerfully" arose. Had an early start hoping to beat the afternoon heat, but a light cloud cover kept us at a pleasant operating temperature. All summited, enjoying a leisurely lunch in the sun with lots of picture taking.

Descending the northwest face gave us all a great 100 foot rappel. Two more rappels brought us to the saddle and the joys of-biting the dust on the descending scree slope. Climbers were Jane Hackett Saundra Miles, Kathy Perkins, Wes Prouty, Joe Turner with leaders Kim Christensen, Tom Donnelly and Chris Shuraleff.
