Mt. June/Sawtooth Hike

Description:
Mt. June is 4618 feet elevation so views should be fabulous. The trails are in good shape with some steep sections with many roots. We will drive the route up Lost Creek Road and I will provide directions. Arrive at the LCC parking lot ready to depart at 8:30. Driving distance is 65 miles, $7.15 suggested for drivers. Dress in layers, bring food and water, poles can be helpful.
We will relax and snack on Mt June, enjoying the view. We'll descend from Mt June and take the trail that continues mostly on the ridgeline to Sawtooth Rock. This area provide views and many places to enjoy lunch. We will retrace our steps back to the Mt. June trailhead, about 6 miles total for hiking.
