Trip Report

Four ambitious, amphibious, adventurers set out to explore the four Nature Exhibits at Mt. Pisgah (Oak Savana, Oak Woodland, Incense Cedar, and Wetlands). Given the recent record setting rainy weather we were prepared for water falling from above, but instead experienced wet feet as the water flowing downhill turned trails to rushing creeks. Our cheerful group enjoyed the clear skies and succeeded in visiting three of the four exhibits. Ironically, we couldn’t get to the “Wetlands” because the path was submerged.
