We will depart promptly at 4:45 AM from the main (west) parking lot to see the sunrise from the summit at 5:29 AM. Hopefully we will see the sun rays through the monument at the top. Trip Report

Our small group of 4 early risers headed up Pisgah at 4:45 AM. We were welcomed by birds singing and a pinkish glow on the horizon. We observed several deer along our way to the top. A running group \"Team 5 AM Madness\" were making their way to the top as well, the atmosphere was festive. The sunrise marking the beginning of summer was beautiful.
