Description:
This is the first day of autumn, a day of balance between equal hours of daylight and darkness.
We will meet at my car a row or two down from the fee box. If you do not have a Lane County Pass, allow time to purchase one with debit/credit card (no cash) at the pay station by the trailhead. Sunset is 7:10 pm. We will plan to take trails 17 and 3 to catch the main trail to the summit. A faster group of hikers may choose to include a portion of Trail 4. We will take the main trail (#1) back to the parking lot.
