Join us for a hike up Mt. Pisgah to see a full moon. Dress for the weather. Headlamp or flashlight. water, snacks
If you don’t have a Lane County parking pass, please allow additional time to purchase one with a Debit/Credit card (no cash) at the fee box by the upper trailhead.
The Sunset/Full Moon hikes start one hour before sunset and one or two days before the actual full moon.

Trip Report

Three new people were signed up, each eager to experience a moonrise hike up Mt. Pisgah. We exchanged stories of how and why we love being a part of this outdoor community as we hiked in the cool summer evening up the NE side. We arrived a little past moonrise to see the moon clearly ablaze with reflected light rising in the pastel clear sky. The evening sound of crickets and crunching hiking shoes on gravel accompanied all down in the growing dark.
