Mt Pisgah Sunset/Full Moon

Description:

Join us for a hike up Mt. Pisgah to see the sunset and a full moon rise. The moon rise is at 6:12 PM and the the sunset is at 7:05 PM. We will aim to get to the top around 6:40 PM so we can see both! Dress for the weather. Headlamp or flashlight. water, snacks

If you don’t have a Lane County parking pass, please allow additional time to purchase one with a Debit/Credit card (no cash) at the fee box by the upper trailhead.
The Sunset/Full Moon hikes start one hour before sunset and one or two days before the actual full moon.

Trip Report

Our group enjoyed a pleasant evening hike to the Pisgah Summit. Due to clouds we weren't able to observe the moon rise or sunset, but we enjoyed cool breezes, crickets chirping, and views of the valley and Cascades.
