Description:

Look for us by my car a row or two down from the fee box. We will take trail #1 to the top and trails #1, 3, 17 back down to the parking lot. On the way down we will also do a short out-and-back to the top of Swing Hill utilizing trail #30. If you do not have a Lane County Pass, allow time to purchase one with debit/credit card (no cash) at the pay station by the trailhead.

Trip Report

We were ready for rain, However, it only sprinkled occasionally and it was somewhat windy at times. The friendly Pisgah coyote was present, just a few feet from the trail as we walked by. He was a bit wet also, but he was taking it all in stride as he went by us in the other direction.
