Fox Hollow to Baldy Winter Solstice Sunset Hike

Description:

NOTE: Location change due to Pisgah main trail closure.

We will meet at the Fox Hollow parking lot kiosk and begin hiking at 3:45pm. Sunset is at 4:37pm. We will hike as one group from the trailhead to East Dillard to Baldy, returning to the trailhead. The hike is approximately 3.5 miles.

Trip Report

Light rain at the start of the hike quickly cleared to blue skies with scattered clouds. Hikers enjoyed sharing each other\'s company and the great views on top of Baldy.
