Trip Report

Another spectacular hike, with views of Spirit Lake and Mt. St. Helens, along with Mts. Hood, Jefferson, Rainier and Adams. Myriad wild flowers of intense hues lined the trail. But we found one too many steep snowfields to cross and shortened our trip by climbing up a hill from which we could view the summit of Mt. Margaret.
