We'll meet in the main parking at 6:45. Moonrise is at 8:19, sunset is at 8:26. We'll hike trails 17 to 7 to 3 to 4 to 1 going up. May take a shorter route coming down.

Trip Report

Thirteen people hiked up to the top vis trail 17, 3, 4 and 1 to watch the sunset and moonrise. Alas, there were clouds to the west and there was no visible sunset. To the east, the moon took a while to show up and most people had headed back down.
Two people told the leader they had seen the moon.
