Description:

UPDATE: Lynn has agreed to be an assistant leader so we can make adjustments for the pace. Look for us by my car a row or two down from the fee box. The main part of the hike will be on Trail 4 and then going up Trail 2 to the summit. If weather is an issue, we can opt for a shorter route. Email me at jbjacobsen@comcast.net if you questions. If you don’t have a Lane County pass allow time to purchase one with Debit/Credit card (no cash) at the pay station by trailhead.

Trip Report

Most hikers opted to add a few extra miles to the hike by going around Swing Hill to the North Trailhead and walk back along the river to our cars. We started at 9:00 and finished around 12:30. It was spring like to see snow queen, spring beauty, hounds tongue, and even the leaves of the fawn lily along the trail. Everyone was willing to stop at intersections and wait where needed. A great group!
