Description:

Park at the Main Parking lot but MEET by the BATHROOMS across from the Pavilion. From there we will take Incense Cedar Trail, Trail 5,Trail 56 and then the long uphill Trail 6 to the summit (3.5 miles). Return on the Trail 4 and 3, to north trailhead and along the river back to our cars. We can adjust the route if weather does not cooperate. Optional — It is a loop so if you want to shorten the hike, you can head back from the summit to the parking lot on the main trail.

Plan on 3 to 3 ½ hours.

Trip Report

A flat tire, mistake about the starting time, and unexpected steepness of Trail — but thanks to texting and a phone call— all's well that ends well. It was great teamwork. A special thanks to Lynn!
