Description:

In observance of the greatest holiday of all, National Trails Day, we will work on the Main Trail and trailhead. We will primarily work to clean the steps on the summit but will also work to pick-up litter and cut back some brush from the trailsides on the way up.

Meet at the main Willamette Street Trailhead parking lot, the paved on Willamette.

Trip Report

3 stalwart Obsidians met and the main trailhead under threatening skies to celebrate National Trails Day. Dave, Tom and I hiked up the Main Trail towards the summit. We chipped, scraped, scooped, and swept gravel and other debris from the steps in the summit portion of the trail.
