Description:

Obsidians volunteers will join others and work in coordination with the Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council to build a new community garden center in Cottage Grove.
The work will include cleaning old garden structures, moving flower beds, soil, etc. All tools will be provided, so only your enthusiasm and the will to do the work in, for now, unknown weather conditions are required.
Meet at the main parking lot @ 9:50 a.m. of the Cottage Grove High School. 1375 S. River Road.

Trip Report

The group began removing the existing garden that was in major disrepair. A temporary fence was constructed around the one-acre plot and the permanent fence posts were set in the ground.
