Description:

We will be doing fall cleanup and maintenance (mowing, weed whacking, weeding beds) to get things spruced up for the ExploraTalk and the start of other fall Obsidian functions. It may still be too dry to use lawnmowers and if so we will use weed whackers to cut back some of the summer's growth. If you have a weed whacker that you could bring it would be a plus.

Trip Report

We had a fall cleanup and maintenance (mowing, weed whacking, weeding beds) work party on September 14 to get things spruced up for the ExploraTalk and the start of other fall Obsidian Lodge activities. Seven helpers made for quick work of things. We have been making a real effort over the last several years to stay on top of the ongoing maintenance and that was evident as each year the fall cleanup after the summer hiatus has gotten less onerous with less jungle like conditions to deal with.
