If PI is truncated to seven decimal places, it becomes 3.1415926, making Pi occur on March 14 at 1:59.26am (or pm)
Obsidian Lodge Pi Hike. We will hike from the Obsidian Lodge on the Ribbon Trail to Hendricks Park. Mileage could be another mile depending on weather and interest. Back at the lodge after the hike, we will celebrate Pi Day with a piece of pie.

Trip Report

To celebrate PI, we left the Obsidian Lodge at 1:59 pm for a sunny hike on the Ribbon Trail to Hendricks Park. We were surprised to see the trillium blooming.. Back at the Lodge we sat outside and ate berry pie from Market of Choice.
