Trip Report

It was lovely weather for our trip to the Zoo. While traveling up I-5, Rick Ahrens gave an wonderful presentation on the history of zoos highlighting the Oregon Zoo. We had a rest stop at Tualatin before arriving at the zoo. Some riders scattered to meet friends or to go it on their own. Others followed Rick to hear his interesting facts. Everyone had their favorite exhibit, but the birds and butterflies scored quite high. The cougar at "Cougar Crossing" chose to stay secluded until it was nearly time to leave for the return trip to Eugene. Happy faces left the bus saying they had a great day.
