Description:

Come hike with me on my new favorite trail at Mt.Pisgah, compliments of all the hard work of former Obsidian President Bill Montgomery. I feel like I have been in 'church' whenever I do it. We will meet at the East entrance to Mt. Pisgah.
Directions are take I(5) exit #188 to Hwy 58. Go about 5 miles to Pleasant Hill and turn left on Ridgeway Road, which is
across from the P. Hill Dairy Queen. Take Ridgeway which winds, about 2 miles and turn left at the East Entrance Parking lot.
You will need a Lane Country Parks Pass or Pisgah Pass to park there, or else please allow time to purchase a day pass at main trail head (west side) with debit or credit card. We will start up the mountain on Trail #2 and then enter the magical lane......of Trail #4 extension to main trail and then summit.

Trip Report

Seven adventurous hikers joined me to explore a new side trail up Mt. Pisgah from the E. trailhead. We started up Trail #2 and then after about a mile the marker for Trail #4 appeared on the right side. Oregon Fawn Lilies, along with other wild flowers greeted us along the way. All summited on a glorious sun filled day.
